This is very important information

A lot of us admins, moderators, everybody who's keeping the club up, have less time.
even if me *ssst and =Dagwanoenyent try and think of new rules to make it work better.
There are so many of you, that it starts being hard to keep up, now i *ssst don't really know what to do to make it beter. So for the moment i build a forum outside of deviantart, that has the samr things you find here, but you dont need to send us notes to join the club orto submit something to the gallery, which would make our job a lot more easy, seeing a lot of us are busy.

This doesn't mean were taking down the club on deviantart, nono !!! not at all..
its just something on the side, and till i figure out with =Dagwanoenyent something that is a little less chaotic in our inbox here on deviantart.

i hope you all understand why i am doing this, and i hope you'll enjoy as much the forum as the club here on deviantart.

About the forum

the layout isn't all that fancy yet, but it is a good start !

you will find both FAQ and REGISTER in the navigation at the top of the page!
to register is very easy. And if you have any technical question's, i hope you can find the answers in the FAQ. If not you can always send me a private message on the forum you can find me either under the name ssst or admin, on of those two, seeing i'm the only member there for the moment, i dont think i'tll be hard to find me.

i made 3 categories with several forums part of those categories.
As you will be able to see there is a new contest theme, the deadline and prizes aren't there yet, but no worries, i will take care of that once i see there are enough members there to participate

the people who were moderators, submit techs, helpers, contest managers, kh recruiters..Will be named moderater in that forum too.

you can make new topics in the forums all you want, submit your art in the section that works for your media. its all very easy and simple to use

I hope i'll see some people there soon !

I think we should close off notes for submissions on the main club. People are gonna start assuming we aren't running that club anyway so until we can get to the base of the problem I think we should not accept submissions for about a week?
Then perhaps we will have to limit the amount of submissions per user per week per note. Or limit how many we submit in a week. Shocked

Yeah your right, but we already limited the submittion by day, so im scared this chaotic problem will show up in no time...we get so many new members a week, that the submittions grow every second...

So what i was thinking, but i am not sure everybody is going to like it,
is that we stop the regular submittions...that the artwork is posted here, and that we will make a spotlight sections in the journal of deviantart, a spotlight that changes (for example) every month. And that whenever a contest is held, that all artwork that are made for the contest, are submitted to the deviantart gallery. So basicly, no more regular submittions, but instead just contest submittions on deviantart, and the regular submittions will be done here by the members self. And besides that, we can find a group of people that we name judges, not for contests, but for monthly spotlights, which will be held in the deviantart journal. I'll make sure for a new subscription, and i'll try to make a nice new CSS specially made for the spotlight, and forum link.

That's my proposition, now if everybody is going to like it i dont know, but we cant keep on doing this, cuz its just to much work...

I hope you guys can get to the core of the club's problems. With as many views as you guys had, your inbox probably went on overload! Shocked
